Guilherme de Rosso, Co-founder of Ikarians Healthtech

We’re excited to kick off our “Meet the Team” series by introducing one of our co-founders, Guilherme de Rosso — strategist, big-picture thinker, and co-creator of our mission to make healthcare more proactive, continuous, and human. In the picture, you’ll see him in his headphones walking around Edinburgh. Probably not a picture that he’s so proud of. Sorry G
Tell us a bit about yourself:
“I’ve worked across different sectors — from Food&Drink and economic development to entrepreneurship and strategy — in both Brazil and the UK. It’s a diverse background that I’ll share more about soon, but what ties it all together is my drive to solve meaningful problems. Ikarians is a natural next step, combining personal purpose with everything I’ve learned so far.”
How did the idea for Ikarians come about?
“It started with my own health journey. I was patient zero — my brother, who’s a doctor, helped me improve my long-term health with a framework he developed himself. That became the foundation of Ikarians. Later, we realised we could use wearable data and AI to bring this proactive, personalised care model to more people — and to the professionals who support them.”
What’s your vision for the future of health?
“Smarter care that feels more human. I want to help shift the system from treating disease to promoting health — where people are supported continuously, and where tech empowers doctors instead of replacing them. “Healthcare should be measured by outcomes, not appointments. That’s the future we’re building.”
Vinicius de Rosso, Ikarians Healthtech Co-Founder

We’re excited to continue our “Meet the Team” series by introducing our other co-founder, Vinícius de Rosso — pragmatic, holistic thinker, and co-creator of our mission to make healthcare more proactive, continuous, and human.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
“My medical path started with dropping Oceanography graduation to follow a call from the essence: use my full capabilities in order to take care and help those I love. From a full year exchange studying sports performance and nutrition in the Netherlands to a short exchange in Peru working with quantum mechanics in health I try to apply my full spectrum of knowledge to solve health problems and aid mine patients to live longer and healthier. Alongside Ikarians I still attend all ages in primary care with Community and Family Medicine.
How did the idea for Ikarians come about?
“I developed my own method to analyse and improve the health of my patients called Apollo’s method considering the full bio-psycho-social spectrum of health and individuals’ daily habits. The improvement was so big for the ones doing it that I teamed up with my best friend and patient zero, my brother, to make it applicable to everyone. Combining it with the new technologies we aim to make the next step in human longevity. “
What’s your vision for the future of health?
“We need to be open to new technologies and make them our allies to shift the current western medicine focus on waiting diseases to appear and treat them to a proactive understanding that what we do now will have a great impact on our future health and lives. By putting each patient in the center of care we can make the whole healthcare system to prioritise tangible values and not just to enhance epidemiological numbers.”
